Like most toddlers, my little one is insatiably nosy. She follows me everywhere, demanding to know what I’m doing - particularly when I’m trying to get dinner sorted. She loves to watch as I prepare the meal, but if you’ve ever tried to cook while carrying a 21-month-old, then you’ll know that’s pretty much impossible! It’s such a simple concept - it’s like an enclosed stool that your child stands in, so they are safely elevated, and can see exactly what you’re doing. It keeps your kids entertained, in your sight, and out from under your feet.  The FunPod fits just under your kitchen worktop. As your child grows, you simply lower the floor piece, so the top always remains at their chest height. At a RRP of £99 - £109 it’s not cheap, but it can be used as soon as your child can stand unaided, until around 5 years of age. So you’ve got plenty of time to get your money’s worth out of it. It comes in a flatpack, but don’t be put off, as it’s really simple to put together (if I can do it - anyone can!) Also, be warned that the assembled FunPod weighs 15.5 kg.
